摘    要:
快速碰撞检测算法是虚拟环境下组合夹具装配设计的关键,针对组合夹具的结构特点,提出了一种基于元件级空间分割与包围盒检测相结合的快速碰撞检测算法(F-CD),通过建立检测区域的分层投影模型(LPM)实现最大限度的减少进行碰撞检测的元件对数,同时避免了建立复杂的层次模型树,降低了系统内存开销,提高检测效率。对LPM的建立和基于分离平面的包围盒干涉检测算法进行了详细的论述,并对算法进行了比较实验与性能分析。

Abstract:
Fast collision detection is the bottleneck of the modular fixture assembly design in virtual environment. Through analyzing of the characteristics of modular fixture structure, a fast collision detection approach (F-CD) by combining element-based spatial partitioning and bounding volume checking was proposed. A layer-based projection model (LPM) was established to reduce the numbers of elements to be testified. Thus the complicated hierarchical tree model was not required and the system memory was decreased to improve the efficiency. The establishment of LPM and the approach of separation plane based bound volume interaction checking were discussed with detail. Finally the experiment and result analysis were proposed to demonstrate the proposed algorithm.
