| Abstract: | Method of establishment and maintenance of Lycium barbarum L.embroynic suspension culture with high differentiation ability was reported in this paper.Type ll embroynic callus was induced from the pith of Lycium barbarum L.for the first time,which dispersed well and grew fast on MS liquid medium(doubled in 3days).In 2 weeks the high-quality suspension culture was established,then a great number of embryoids were obtained from the suspension cells in liquid differentiation medium.Moreover,suspension culture established throgh filtering produced more embryoids than that through nonfiltering.After a long period of suspension culture,the differentiation ability declined,but this can be restored by culuring on solid medium and then transfering to liquid medium. |
