| 摘 要： | 隐喻不仅是一种语言现象,更是一种思维方式。人类常用自己最熟悉的身体部位去认识客观世界。本文借助语料库,分析了英语中"眼睛"隐喻的分类及特点,并证实人类认识自身是认识世界的基础。

| Abstract: | Metaphor is not only a language phenomenon, but also a way of thinking. People usually know the abstract world with their most familiar body or body parts. This paper analyzes the classifications and features of ＂eye/eyes＂ metaphors in English, with the help of BNC （British National Corpus）, and testifies that the basis of human＇s recognition of the world is the understanding of their bodies. |
