改土归流对壮族社会的影响

改土归流之后,壮族核心居住区逐渐朝着多民族聚居的特点发展;壮族地区的政治、经济、文化开始与中原地区划一;壮、汉民族之间既有融合,也有同化,但是壮融入汉是主流;大约从明代起,壮族逐渐对壮、汉文化抱等距认同的态度,并在族际交流中维持自己的族群边界。改土归流的结果是使壮族看起来与汉族无异,但却实在又是一个特点突出的民族。

The Appointment of Officials by the Central Government and Its Influence on Zhuang Society

After the officials began to be appointed by the central government, the Zhuang-inhabited area has gradually taken on the characteristic of being shared by various ethnic groups, and its politics, economy and culture become one with that of the Central Plains. While the two ethnic groups are infiltrating and assimilating each other, the mainstream is the conformity of Zhuang into Han. Ever since the Ming Dynasty, the Zhuang people has taken an impartial attitude toward the Zhuang and Han cultures, and maintained its own ethnic boundary in inter-ethnic communication. The outcome of the conformity of Zhuang into Han is the physical similarity between the two ethnic groups, whereas the Zhuang is still a group with its own prominent features.
