Professor Katerina Toraki and the Terminology Work in Greece

The European Parliament (EP) is one of three important institutions of the European Union (EU). The Directorate General for Translation provides the guaranteed high-quality translation of written text into and out of the European Union’s twenty-four official languages. The main role of its Terminology Coordination Unit (TermCoord) is assisting translators with their day-to-day tasks and facilitating terminology research and terminology management in the translation units. There is a special “Interview” post in the TermCoord website which reports the interview with some world-class Terminologists worldwide regularly.
