Abstract:This paper probes into some concrete measures for how the acquisitioning and cataloguing department of university library to meet the needs of readers and improve the utilization rate of literature resources,analyzes the relationship between the acquisitioning and cataloguing work and the service for readers,and expounds the problems of improving the quality of catalogers and carrying out the readers training.
