| Abstract: | The greatest success of The Tale of Shui Hu lies on the fact that it created a large number of characters with resistance spirit and fresh and vivid individuality. Among all of the characters, Li Kui, whose nickname is Black Storm, proved to be an honest, loyal and pure hero in the tale. He showed his deep revolution affection of love and friendship towards the poor. He is the leading role of all the peasants who arose and fought for freedom and equality in the farmers?revolution. |
