赵孟頫书法析论

“赵体”书法流传深远，对后世影响很大，赵孟頫上承晋唐、下启明清，把书法艺术推向一个新的高峰，为我国书法的发展作出了独特的贡献。由于他本是宋朝皇室后裔，却出仕元朝，在气节问题上屡屡为人诟病，其书法风格也被贬斥为“奴书”、“骨软字媚”。然而，从书法艺术角度客观评价，赵孟颊的书法道美俊逸，在我国书法史上占有重要的位置。

Appreciation of Zhao Mengfu's Calligraphy

Zhao Mengfu,the famous calligrapher in Yuan Dynasty,devoted his heart and soul to calligraphy,creating the special "Zhao style" by absorbing the advantages of other people."Zhao-style" calligraphy exerts great influence on those after him.Inheriting the tradition in Jin and Tang dynasties while spreading itself into Ming and Qing dynasties,Zhao helped to push calligraphy to a new height,making unique contribution to China's calligraphy.Though a descendent of imperial family,he worked as an official in Yuan Dynasty and that's why a lot of people speak ill of his integrity.Consequently his style of calligraphy has been degraded by some as "slave calligraphy" or "soft and flattering style".Actually,from the artistic perspective,Zhao Mengfu's calligraphy is vigorous and beautiful,graceful and easy,and is one of the key styles in Chinese calligraphy.
