IM-94对肿瘤细胞的抑制作用

采用细胞培养，细胞计数和ＭＴＴ快速检测法观察了肿瘤抑制剂ＩＭ－９４对培养的人肿瘤细胞的抑制作用，结果表明ＩＭ－９４对培养的肿瘤细胞，包括Ｋ５６２细胞，肺癌ＳＰＣ－Ａ１及胃腺癌７９０１细胞均有明显的杀伤作用，并具有一定的量一次和时一效关系，而培养的正常细胞没有明显影响。

INHIBITING EFFECT OF IM 94 ON NEOPLASMA CELLS

Cancer is the main danger for human health.The worldwide incidence is very high all long. With the development of science and technology, a lot of advanced instruments and testing measures to this disease in clinical diagnoses were found. However, we are still short of ideal measures in treatment. For instance, surgical treatment and adjuvant chemotherapy are often used for medium, advanced carcinoma, but the prognoses are always unsatisfactory. In view of these facts, we have screened, isolated and purified an active antitumor component, called IM 94 from natural biological source according to traditional Chinese medical science and modern scientific knowledge. In the present paper, the antitumor effects of IM 94 on different cell lines and normal cells were studied by morphological observation, cells counting and MTT rapid testing method.The results suggested that IM 94 had no effects on normal cells, such as human leukocytes and rat kidney cells, by morphological observation and survival rate determination using MTT assay.IM 94 could reduce the survival rate of human leukemia K562 cells in dose dependent and time dependent manner. Similar dose dependent inhibitive effects of IM 94 were also in carcinoma lung of SPC A 1 and adenocarcinoma of stomach 7901 cells.And the morphological changes were very consistent with results of MTT assay, indicating that IM 94 is likely a pharmaceutical composition with little toxicity, slight side effect and good efficacy, which is useful in the treatment of neoplastic disease.
