水墨山水在唐代出现的原因初探

一种新的艺术形式不可能凭空出现,它必定是在特定的文化土壤中发芽并成长成型的,水墨山水作为一种新的艺术形式出现于唐代,也是如此。文章认为水墨山水之所以出现于唐代,是因为此时的水墨山水完成了“道”与“器”的统一。在文化空前开放的大环境中,儒、道、释三家文化交融并促使了水墨山水物以所载之“道”的成熟;墨本身所具有的物理特性,使其成为阐述此“道”最合适的形而下之“器”;而山水技法的进一步完善,则为形而上之“道”的阐述创造了技术条件。

Research on Chinese Ink and Wash Landscape Painting Appeared in the Tang Dynasty

A new art form has to grow from a specific cultural background. Chinese ink and wash landscape painting in the Tang Dynasty, as a new art form, is an example of this. This article is an explanation of why Chinese ink and wash painting appeared in the Tang Dynasty. That is Chinese ink and wash painting has completed its unification between"Dao" and"Qi" at that time. During that multicultural period, Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism influenced each other, promoting the maturity of "Dao", which was expressed by Chinese ink and wash landscape painting. The characteristics of ink make it the most suitable "Qi" for the further expression of "Dao".The further improvement of landscape painting technique has allowed greater refinement in the expression of "Dao".
