| 摘 要： | 海明威《老人与海》中的桑提亚哥是一个典型的硬汉子形象。他孤独奋斗和执着追求的性格以及非凡超人的意志力，使得桑提亚哥这个渔夫本身就成为赞颂人的精神的一首诗。作者将他的复杂情感全方位地体现出来，从而更加突出了悲剧式的英雄主义色彩。

| Abstract: | Santiago is typical of strong-willed person in Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea,whose character of solitary struggle and whose extraordinary willpower make Santiago,the fisherman himself a poem for extolling human's spirit.Hemingway displayed Santiago's complex feelings on every side,so that the tragic heroism was more prominent. |
