| 摘 要： | 本文主要以真彩色RGB图像的处理为例，介绍压缩彩色图像的一种方法。先将RGB图像转为彩色索引图像，进行二进小波多层分解，然后对各层低频近似的系数矩阵作相应的截取处理，以及优化彩色索引图像的颜色图。

| Abstract: | In this paper, we introduce a way of compressing color images, exampled dealing with true color RGB images. First, we change RGB image into color index image and decompose it with 2 adic wavelet. Then we cut the matrix of low frequency approximate coefficients in some levels and optimize color map of index image. |
