Abstract:Heuristic analysis method is used to determine the stability of the difference schemes for nonlinear differential equations.With this method,we analyze the stability of a class of coupled nonlinear Burgers equations in differential format.The second order coefficient of dissipative term in the modified differential equation is found to be the necessary condition for ensuring the stability of the equation group difference scheme.
