The Development of Several Aspects in the Study of Gramineae Embryology in Recent Twenty Years

In the development of rye, zea mays, wheat and barley pollen grains, the localization and the position changing of the generative cell and the vegetative nucleus before and during mitosis is regular. The formation of the generative cells has been studied in several specieses in Gramineae, but the details are not all the same, especially in the generative cell wall formation, about which the anthers have different opinions. The cellulization of endosperm in Gramineae was summarized and compared. The appearance of the polarity of the egg cell and the zygote in Gramineae seems later than other angiosperms.
