摘    要:The prospected application of propylene-styrene copolymer is to be used as an additive improving the compatibility between polypropylene and polystyrene. There are already some methods applied to synthesize propylene-styrene copolymer. The first one is that propylene polymerized with sty-rene directly, catalyzed by Ziegler-Natta or metallocene catalysts. For example, TiCl4/NbClx(OR)y/MgCl2/Pb2- SiCl2/EB1,2], TiCl3 or Cp2TiMe2/AlEt33] catalyst systems were reported. In these works,…

Abstract:A novel synthetic route used for preparing PP-g-PS was designed. With this synthetic route, a series of graft copolymers with different contents of PS chain were synthesized successfully, and characterized by 13C-NMR, DSC, GPC.
