论美国社区学院兼职教师专业发展活动

摘    要:兼职教师在美国社区学院中扮演着重要角色。对美国社区学院兼职教师专业发展活动的思考旨在推动我国社区学院建设,支持社区学院聘请兼职教师,鼓励社区学院兼职教师参加专业发展活动。为此,本文论述了美国社区学院兼职教师参加专业发展活动的个人因素,即兼职教师对自己身份的识别和对完成专业发展活动的一种自我预知和感知,并以此确定是否参加专业发展活动。同时,介绍了政府和社区学院支持兼职教师参加专业发展活动而采取的激励措施,以及社会各界为确保专业发展活动顺利开展而建立的各种保障机制。

Abstract:Part-time teachers play a significant role in community colleges. This paper explains the reasons for the part-time teachers to participate in the professional development activities, such as enhancing their self-identification of.their work and their self-efficacy to complete a professional development activity. Meanwhile, it introduces the incentive measures and security mechanism to encourage the adjunct faculty to take part in professional development activities.
