摘    要:由半导体光放大器速率方程及泵浦光、探测光在放大器中的传输方程,建立了交叉增益调制波长转换器中转换速率与输出消光比关系的小信号理论模型,并在不同泵浦光功率下进行了数值计算,分析表明转换速率对输出消光比有重要影响,为研究波长转换器的消光比特性提供了理论依据

Abstract:Based on the rate equation of semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) and the transmission equation of the probe and pump light in SOA, a small signal model for the relation of the output extinction ratio with conversion rate in cross gain modulation wavelength converter has been developed and calculated with various pump power. The analysis on the result obtained reveals the significant influence of conversion rate on output extinction ratio.
