论新时期思想政治工作与党的建设

思想政治工作是我党的优良传统和固有优势 ,是党建理论的重要组成部分。在国际国内形势发生深刻变化的今天 ,改进并加强思想政治工作 ,对于深化改革开放、化解各种矛盾 ,尤其对于提高广大党员干部抵制腐败享乐思想、增强群众观念 ,具有重要意义。当前做好思想政治工作 ,关键要把握好“两个大局”和解决“三个历史性课题” ,用“三个代表”要求统一认识 ,既要发扬优良传统 ,又要善于创新 ,时代呼唤坚强有效的思想政治工作。

Ideological and Political Work's Relationship to CPC's Construction

The ideological and political work is our Party's fine tradition and intrinsic superiority. It is also a key part of CPC's construction. Today, the situation is undergoing a dramatic change both at home and abroad, so, improving and strengthening the ideological and political work plays an important role in the policy of deepening the reform and opening to the outside world, mitigating all kinds of controversies particularly for Party members and cadres in resisting corruption and pleasure-seeking preoccupation, and enhancing the masses' consciousness. Attention should be focused on two overall situations, three historical subjects, three representations, development of the fine traditions and innovations. The new era calls for solid and efficient ideological and political work.
