摘    要:语言与文化有着天然的内在联系。是社会民族文化的一个组成部分,语言离不开文化;文化是语言产生和发展的基础和社会背景,文化依附于语言,各民族的文化和社会风俗又都在该民族所使用的语言中表现出来。作为以传授语言知识为主要功能的大学英语教学,自然也承担着英语跨文化教育的责任和使命。在大学英语第二课堂教学中为学生创设跨文化交际环境,通过开展丰富多彩的课外活动培养学生的文化意识,使语言技能与文化意识的培养同步进行,是大学英语教学改革的重要任务,也是培养创新型人才的有效途径。

Abstract:There is an intrinsic connection between language and culture.Language is part of social cultures of ethnic groups.Cultures,the integral part of language,are the base and social background for language.The cultures and social customs are demonstrated through the language which they are using.College English teaching,the teaching of language knowledge,shoulders the duty and mission of cross-cultural education.The important task for college English teaching reform and the effective methods for fostering innovative talents are to create the atmosphere for cross-cultural communication through rich extracurricular activities,which helps the cultivation of cultural awareness and language skills take place simultaneously.
