Comments on the significance of the quasi-valence number for chemical carcinogenesis

Abstract:Summary A quasi-valence number of less than 3.20 was reported to be significant in correlating carcinogenicity. This criterion has no meaningful relationship since such a large proportion of organic compounds fall in this group, that it provides no selectivity.Acknowledgment.
