陈独秀教育思想刍议

陈独秀是中国近代教育事业的先驱者,对中国近代教育产生过重大影响。他在教育的地位与作用、教育方针、教育内容、教育方法和教育出路五个方面都提出了一些新的见解。在教育的地位和作用方面,他认为:教育是“必需品”非“奢侈品”,教育能为社会培养各种人才。在教育方法方面,他指出,教育之道应是“发展人间身心之所长而去其短”。在教育内容方面,他认为教育必须要德智体三者并重。在教育内容方面,他提出要力除主观主义和形式主义两大弊端。在教育出路方面,他主张必须要取法西洋,废除旧教育,提倡新教育。

On the Chen Duxiu's Toughts of Education

To education of modern times of China.Chen Duxiu was a pioneer,who also made a great influence on it. He brought up some new ideas on the status and position of education,the principle of education,the contents of education,the methods of education, the outlet of education.On the status and position of education,he thought educaion a necessity rather than luxury.In his opinion,education could cultivate people for the development of society. On the principle of education,he thought education should develop people's advantage and overcome faults. On the contents of education, he thought moral education. Intellectual education and physical education were of the same importance. On the measures of education, he insisted on abolishing formalism or subjectivism. On the outlet of education, he thought we should learn from the foreign developed countries and replace the"old" education by "new" one.
