中国大型承包商规模经济的实证研究

在对我国大型承包商的规模经济现状进行分析的基础上,运用超越对数成本函数的随机边界分析(SFA)方法,对我国深沪两市25家上市大型承包商2003～2007年的规模经济状况进行了实证研究,并与数据包络分析(DEA)方法的测算结果进行了比较.研究发现,2种方法测算的规模经济性有一定差异:SFA的测算结果表明,我国的大型承包商中存在普遍的规模不经济现象;而DEA的结果则表明了规模经济的普遍存在.SFA测算的规模经济值与企业的等级有一定关系,即承包商等级越高,规模不经济现象越明显;DEA测算的结果则表明承包商的规模经济性与企业的规模等级并无关联.

An Empirical Analysis of Scale Economies of Large Contractors in China

On the basis of analyzing the conditions of economies of scale, this paper empirically evaluates the scale economies of 25 Chinese large contractors which came into the market in SHANGHAI STOCK EXCHANGE and SHENZHEN STOCK EXCHANGE from 2003 to 2007 by using generalized translog cost function and SFA method, and compared the results with the DEA method. The results suggest that the conditions of economies of scale are different in the two methods. The results of the SFA suggest that Chinese large contractors generally appear to be prevalent diseconomies of scale, while the DEA suggest the prevalent existence of economies of scale. The results of SFA are related to the size of contractors that the larger the size of contractors, the more obvious the phenomenon of diseconomies of scale, while the DEA suggest that there is no relationship between them.
