| Abstract: | This paper deals with the solution of Reynold's equation under the deformation of shaft by the finite differential method and calculates the static characteristics of journal sliding bearing in an imported unit. The results show a decrease in the oil film outside the bearing and in the loading capacity, an increase in the attitude angle and flow rate, and change of the distribution of oil pressure due to shaft deformation, so the effects of shaft deformation have to be considered in design by comparing with the static characteristics of journal sliding bearing without shaft deformation. |
