辉光放电膏剂渗硼原理

摘    要:设计了特殊的探针装置以测定渗硼过程中膏剂内部电位分布:试验表明:在试样上5mm膏剂中相对试样存在40~50V电位差。据此建立的由电解机制作用的渗硼机理的模型解释了本工艺中出现高渗速的原因;通过研究指出了温度、时间和放电功率对渗层厚度的影响规律。用该工艺处理的一系列YG8拉丝模具,在实际使用中其服役寿命显著提高。

Abstract:To investigate the mechanism of paste boriding in a glow dischrge, a special probe has been designed to measure the distribution of internal potantial of the paste during boronization. We have discovered in a test that the difference in potential between the specimen and the paste at a distance of 5mm from the specimen is 40-50V. Therefore the model which is established by the eelctrolysis mechanism of boriding in impregnation from pastes in a glow discharge, explains the high rate of impregnation. This paper describes the influences of boronizing temperature, time and power of glow discharge on the thickness of boride layder. The results show that the growth rate of borides layers under the condition of glow discharge follows a rule of diffusion process. A series of YG8-drawing dies have been treated by this process, and the practice record shows that their service life is remarkable improved.
