摘    要:基于混沌脉冲位置调制(CPPM)提出了一种新型可用于超宽带冲击无线电(UWB-IR)的通信方案———同步混沌脉冲位置调制(SCPPM)。该方案克服了混沌脉冲位置调制方法存在的问题,具有保密性好、可靠性高等优点。文中在有噪声和滤波的情况下对新系统进行多次仿真,用比特误码率(BER)和比特信噪比(Eb/N0)的关系刻画了新方案的性能并与CPPM系统进行了比较。分析和仿真表明,在理想误码性能相同的前提下,提出的新系统在非理想定时条件下具有比CPPM系统更好的解码性能。

Abstract:Based on the chaotic pulse position modulation(CPPM) strategy,a novel communication strategy is introduced for ultra-wide bandwidth impulse radio communication system(UWB-ICS) in this paper.The proposed scheme can overcome the disadvantages existing in CPPM,having the desired features of communication privacy,reliability etc.The performance of our scheme is characterized in terms of bit error rate versus E_b/N_0 by numerically simulating its operation in the presence of noise and filtering.It is shown by the analysis and simulation results that our synchronized chaotic pulse position modulation(SCPPM) method has better performance than CPPM in the case of non-ideal timing as well as performing same with CPPM in the case of ideal timing.
