| Abstract: | The preparation methods and the recent progress of bioactive gradient coatings on the surface of metals in medicine were summarized. The kinetics to invert amorphous hydroxyapatite (HA) into crystalline HA and the effect of different heat treatments on microstructure and stabilization of the coatings were also generalized. |
