| Abstract: | Halliday's Systemic Functional Linguistics has extensively been applied to the analysis of various text types.Within Hallidayan framework,some scholars have provided good insights into the translation of poems,advertisements and novels.In the literature to date,few studies have been done in Chinese versions of English lyrics.This paper gives a transitivity analysis of 3 Chinese versions of Silent Night,aiming at some more applicable translation techniques in E/C translation of lyrics. |
