20世纪扬州八怪研究综述

扬州八怪是对清代康熙、雍正、乾隆年间，活跃在扬州地区的，以“怪”而闻名的一批具有革新精神的书画家的总称。关于扬州八怪的研究从清代末期就开始进行，进入20世纪仍然是中国美术理论界研究的重点之一。从扬州八怪研究的发展过程，研究中的不同观点和结论以及研究的意义等方面，可概括20世纪扬州八怪研究。

"Yangzhou Eight Monsters":A Research Summary during the 20th Century

Eight artistic masters, once popular as "Yangzhou Eight Monsters", were the eight painters and calligraphers who became well-known for their eccentricity and creativity in Yangzhou, during the Qing Dynasty under emperors of Kang Xi,Yong Zheng and Qian Long. Thus, study of the "Eight Monsters" remained one of the hottest topics in China's aesthetic circle in the 20th century. This paper attempts to summarize those studies so as to clear up its development and to compare different views.
