Abstract:There is a lot of disputation about the h WO 3 compound; it is necessary to make further scientific experiment. The new hexagonal tungsten oxide compounds (h (NH 4) x WO 3) were prepared; it was demonstrated that NH 4 ion makes h WO 3 compound stabilized. Doping reaction of h (NH 4) x WO 3 in organic medium and in aqueous solution indicated that NH 4 ion was displaced by K and Na ions; and displacement mechanism was investigated. There may be a good prospect for industrial application of oxidized ammonium tungsten bronze (h (NH 4) x WO 3) in production of doped tungsten wires.
