| Abstract: | The SCS model,designed by American soil Conservation Service,is used.to compute flood discharge in small basins.In this paper,the parameters of the model were modified properly according to the geographical features of Cao E River basin and the re- mote sensing information.Then the nood volumes were computed with modified SCS model and the results obtained are satisfactory.This research indicates that application of modined SCS model in forecasting floods quickly and accurately is feasible in the small ba- sins in East China. |
