Falsehood and Truth: On Binary Opposition in Hamlet

The central conflict in Hamlet is the one between truth and falsehood.On the one hand,the image of "feinting" threads through the whole play,which strongly discloses and attacks British feudal classes' nature of duplicity and hypocrisy and vices of dehumanization.On the other hand,quest of truth is a second thread of the play.Hamlet's avenging process is unfolded as a journey of quest of truth.It is not only an investigation into the death of his father,but an ontologically epistemological process of Denmark,the world and the whole human being.
