Abstract:Online monitoring of dynamic crack formation process in materials is a crucial technology in production automation. Existing problems in present day acoustic monitoring approaches are discussed,and a new contactless acoustic emission sensormethod is introduced.Experimental use shows that it is promising in being automatic in its monitoring process interference-free in action,convenient in assembly and low in itscost.
