The Realization of the Persistent Class Using a Template

A new way to declare and process the persistent class in the host object oriented programming language is discussed. By the general characteristics of the persistent classes, a common class template structure for all persistent classes is defined. Passing a volatile class as a parameter to the class template, a persistent template class of certain volatile class is formed. It makes the difference between persistent and volatile semantemes very clear and the multimodality of the attribute can be well handled with any persistent object easily managed. It will provide a sound basis for the realization of the object oriented database management system and the persistent programming language.
