摘    要:分析了高等数学教育在大学教育中的地位和作用;指出了数学教学的目的与目前存在的一些问题;提出应在数学教学中讲究知识性、科学性、思想性、趣味性、审美性教育,以全面提高教学质量.

Abstract:This article examines the status and the role of teaching advanced mathematics in college education. It discusses the purpose of mathematical education and points out some current problems with its teaching method. Furthermore, it suggests that knowledge, science, ideology, interest, and aesthetic elements should be combined when teaching to comprehensively improve the quality of mathematical education.
