| Abstract: | This article examines the status and the role of teaching advanced mathematics in college education. It discusses the purpose of mathematical education and points out some current problems with its teaching method. Furthermore, it suggests that knowledge, science, ideology, interest, and aesthetic elements should be combined when teaching to comprehensively improve the quality of mathematical education. |
