| Abstract: | Based on experimental studies, this paper discusses the statisticalrelation between the blow count of in-situ standard penetration test (SPT) and thatof laboratory mini-penetration test (MPT) and furthermore puts forward a new approach that the laboratory MPT may replace in-situ SPT for the liquefaction assessment of silt deposit. |
