汉代模印画像砖研究

学术界统称的“画像砖”特指先经过木版雕刻之后制作成一种箱体式母模的模具,在未干的泥坯上施压成一种带有纹饰图形的砖,再经过窑内烧制定型画像砖,即“模印画像砖”。模印画像砖生成在战国,鼎盛在汉代。这与以砖代木的历史性、厚葬风尚的追求、特殊商品的生产有直接联系。

RESEARCH ON MOULDED RELIEF BRICK SCULPTURES OF HAN DYNASTY

Academically called ＂relief brick sculptures＂ , especially refers to a type of bricks with figures burnt to be shaped inside brickkiln, after wet mud prints the figures on a box-like matrix from carved boards, or wet mud is pressed directly with figures, which is named ＂Moulded relief brick sculptures＂. Taking source in the Warring States period, relief brick sculptures were conspicuous throughout the Han Dynasty. It has direct relationship with the history of substitution of brick for wood, the pursuit of the forms of burial, the production of special commodities.
