| Abstract: | The paper discusses the principles and the significance of transcendentalism, showing that it is the spiritual declaration for American people. It demonstrates that the American Independence was really and thoroughly fulfilled only after the appearance of transcendentalism. Transcendentalism is the spiritual wealth not only for American people, but also for the whole world. |
