| Abstract: | This essay briefly describes the development of computerized language testing and summarize the advantages it brings to language testing. Then the essay discusses the challenges and difficulties it faces currently from three aspects,testing validity,comparability of a paper-based language test and a computer-based language test,and practicality. The prospect of computerized language testing is discussed in the end. |
