| Abstract: | The works of Mencius had different status in different historical periods. From the philosophical books to the classic books, it reflected the advancement of Mencius＇ , status, and it also aroused the extensive at- tention. Gradually People＇ s attention focused on this work＇ s author and the tables of contents. The transmission and influence of this classic book are shown by ancient scholars＇ criticism and annotation. |
