高面密度垂直记录交叉方位角记录方式研究

摘    要:研究了垂直记录单极型磁头的偏道特性及串音特性.在此基础上,提出了一种利用交叉方位角记录方式,减小实际记录道宽,消除保护带,从而充分利用磁盘记录媒体表面的新方法,在实现高道密度磁记录的同时,提高记录面密度.为实现这一目的而设计制作的双道方位角磁头,用于软盘系统,比相同宽度的普通磁头提高道密度一倍以上.

Abstract:The offtrack and crosstalk properties of perpendicular recording with a single pole head are investigated. Comparison with the offtrack properties of the longitudinal ring head shows that the crosstalk from the neighbouring track using perpendicular recording with a single pole head is smaller than that using a longitudinal ring head. The single pole head is advantageous to the reduction of the width of magnetic disk. A new method of azimuth recording is proposed to improve areal recording density and to realize high track density magnetic recording at the same time because of the narrow actual recorded track width and the elimination of the guardband. Dual-track azimuth heads have been developed. The track density for the floppy disk driver with such a head can be increased by twofold as compared with the conventional head of the same track width.
