郭沫若与英国文学

郭沫若是我国五四诗坛的一位巨星，在我国现代文学史是有着举足轻重的地位。他所接受的外来文化影响庞杂，本文从少时与英国文学的最初接触，浪漫主义美学观的形成，文艺批评思想的形成。对英国作品的翻译活动及在英国文学影响下的戏剧创作这五方面探讨和系统梳理郭沫若先生与英国文学之间千丝万缕的关系．同时说明其接受过程中中西文化的碰撞及作家的主体选择性，并指出西方浪漫主义概念在中国的误用：中国五四时期的浪漫主义其实是抒情主义。

Guo Moruo and English Literature

The paper discusses the influence of English literature on Mr.Guo Moruo in five aspects: his first contact with English literature in early youth,his formation of romanticist aesthetics,the formation of literary critical thought,his translation activities and dramatic creation.Meanwhile,this essay tries to point out the collision of Chinese and western cultures and Mr.Guo's subjective selective in the course of his embrace of foreign literature.It also points out the misuse of the concept of Western Romanticism in China.Actually,so-called Chinese Romanticism is a kind of lyricism.
