| Abstract: | In this paper,on the basis of beam strength theorythe author presents the modifying-moment method,by which allowable erosion length of a sea-bottom imbeded oil pipeline can be obtained easily.The example in the paper shows that the calculation is simple and the result is reliable.Thus the method is practical in engineering. |
