Translating is a course of conveying an expressive way of a language to a corresponding expressive way of another language.Translating is a course of using language all the time.Therefore,translation is,first of all,a language activity.The research object of translation cannot be separated from language in any angle.There has been the language research since there was translation.The language research can't be separated from the contrastive analysis of language.Contrastive analysis provides the theoretical bases for the research of translation and guides the practice of translation.At the same time,translation provides plenty of language bases and analytical bases for contrastive analysis.
