中国书画的传统欣赏习惯与现代发展前景展望

Traditional Appreciation Convention of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting and Prospects for Their Modern Development

Chinese calligraphy and painting are the artistic fo rms characteristic of its national character. During the course of their development in the past se veral thousand years, they have evolved not only a series of forms for their cre ation, but also a tradi tional appreciation convention for their evaluation,which have become an unwri tten law affecting the traditional Chinese calligraphy and painting of long sta nding. Today those conventions, with ever-increasing interaction of Chinese and western cultures,are “colliding”with all kinds of anti-traditional artistic i deas. It is significant to study those conventions and inherit them for both developing a nd disseminating Chinese calligraphy and painting all over the world.
