| Abstract: | This paper reviews the current situation of identifying damping ratio parameters for building structures, and proposes an optimum computer identification of damping ratio through the function spectrum of the frequency response. From the curve fitting of measured data of the frequency response function for prototype building structures, we obtain the damping ratio para-meters after removing coupling, and give the applicable example of this method. |
