| Abstract: | This paper expounds the significance of soil liquefaction discrimination and the necessary conditions of soil liquefaction,and through the analysis on the discriminant functions of liquefaction,probes into the reliability of liquefaction discrimination equations,points out the limitations of liquefaction discrimination equations,and puts forward various methods,such as theoretical analysis and experiential judgment,that should be used to discriminate liquefaction of silty soil. |
