| Abstract: | The free vibration behavior of a coupling system with an infinite cylindrical elastic shell filled with fluid is studied. The simple harmonic motion of the shell and the pressure in the fluid are described with the Flgge shell equation and Helmholtz equation, respectively. According to the radial velocity at the boundary wall between the fluid and the shell, the equations of motion of the coupled system are obtained. The dispersion behavior of free waves is investigated. The equation for determining the vibrational energy flow carried by various internal forces is derived. The characteristics of the propagating waves are discussed from the point of view of energy. |
