| Abstract: | Supposing the support concrete of the sluice gate track to be a quarter infinite body loaded by a uniform force, its approximate solution is obtained by elastic mechanical method. According to the criterion that the maximum tensile stress in the quarter infinite body must be less than the concrete tensile strength, a formula is abtained for calculating the distance between the track and the edge of gate groove by regression analysis, and the formula is further simplified for engineering application. |
