苏铁 (Cycas revoluta Thunb)是一种珍稀濒危植物 ,随着国家对苏铁的重视 ,近几年苏铁的研究有了较大的进展。本文就苏铁的形态特征及其分类地位 ,苏铁在种子植物进化中的位置 ,苏铁生物学和生理生化特性以及苏铁繁殖和栽培技术的研究现状进行概述 ,并对今后的研究方向进行探讨

Cycads (Cycas revoluta Thunb) is a rare plant and is in immient danger. Accompanying with our county paying attenti on to Cycads, much advance at the research of Cycads have been achieved in recent years. This paper outlined the current research status of Cycads in following areas including morphologic characters, state of classification, position in the evolution of seed-plant, characteristics of biology, physiology and biochemical, and technique of propagation and culture. Also, Research orientation in future was inquired in the paper.
