| Abstract: | In this paper, we prove that the Ishikawa iteration {x_n} converges weakly (strongly)to a fixed point of asymptotically quasinonexpansive mappings and asymptotically hemicontractive mappings under very general conditions. Our theorems improve and generalize the recent results of Schu. |
